Mrs Robinson your son's a millionaire ?

As a seven year old Alan Robinson met the than British Prime Minister Harold Wilson who was visiting Tolpuddle,Dorset near the Robinson home.The Prime Minister gave Alan a signed photograph and set Alan on his way to becoming a millionaire.

By the time Alan was 16 he had moved to the bright lights of London and found that if the streets were not exactly paved with gold then certain doors were. Alan took to waiting outside stage doors and collecting the autographs of actors and actresses.
In the years that followed Alan had managed to collect some of the most famous names in show biz including Elvis,Liza Minnelli,Elizabeth Taylor,Sophia Loren,Clark Gable,John Wayne and Laurel and Hardy most of these were signed on photos he handed to the stars.

What makes Alan's collection stand out and the envy of every autograph hunter is that Alan's collection includes every actor and actresses who has won an Oscar since the awards began in 1929.
Now all of Alan's collection did not come free, Three years ago the now 42 year old took out a bank loan to obtain the Holy Grail of autographs that of Greta Garbo to put the final piece in the jigsaw,with Miss Garbo's name his collection was now complete.

By adding Miss Garbo to his collection it is estimated that Alan has spent £100,000 to complete a collection of one off the finest in the world.Now Alan is expected to make £1 million as he sells off his fantastic collection of 10,000 signatures at auction.

The auction of 800 Oscars lots is due to take place at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel near Heathrow Airport on February 24, the rest of the collection will go under the hammer later this year.
Oh in case your wondering Alan hopes to travel the world with the money he makes from selling the autographs.
